《詭新娘》是一部懸疑恐怖電影，故事發(fā)生在清末民國(guó)初期。影片講述了一個(gè)在省城上學(xué)的大戶人家的少爺因?yàn)榻惴虮溃鹚仝s回家奔喪的故事。在回家的路上，他在樹(shù)林中救了一個(gè)姑娘，并發(fā)現(xiàn)她長(zhǎng)得貌美，于是將她帶回家做丫鬟，照顧父母。這位姑娘名叫麗娘，少爺與她相處久了之后，產(chǎn)生了感情。在他們的大婚之夜，麗娘被一個(gè)厲鬼附身，家里請(qǐng)來(lái)道士降服了厲鬼，并將其封印在鏡子里。然而，這只是恐怖靈異事件的開(kāi)始。故事中涉及到了佛堂祭奠的神秘物品、家中老爺?shù)目植澜新暎约案腥说碾x奇死亡。所有這些事件的發(fā)生，將揭開(kāi)一段鮮為人知的前朝舊事。
